ADMIN: The Polls Do NOT show email addresses (except Location Poll)

Dear members,

Penny beat me to it with an explanation of the polls.  

I will add a few additional points, since I'm on the podium:-

If you want to know the outcome format of any ongoing poll before 
voting, you can check this by scrolling down the page to view the 
current situation.  This may seem obvious, but I can understand that 
people might be wary if they're not sure how these things work.  

Voter details in the four new demographic polls are hidden to all but 
the voter members, but it's worth noting that the radio buttons will 
show *you* (or anyone who logs in under your ID), how you voted.

Please do vote in some of the other, ongoing polls, particularly the 
one at the bottom, which will advise the action we take on movie-
related discussions prior to the release of the first movie.   This 
poll has been running for a while now, but we will be posting some 
additional guidance notes later today to focus attention on the pros 
and cons of each choice.  You can change your vote at any time, by 
the way.

NB: Members are no longer able to set up their own polls on the main 
list; that option was closed, as that section was getting rather busy 
some months ago.  If you have an idea for a poll, please let the 
moderator team know.  Alternatively, you can set up your own polls on 
the OT Chatter list.     

One final thing: If you have any further comments on polls, or any 
general concerns, please send them to hpforgrownups-
owner at yahoogroups.com rather than posting comments on the main list.
