Hello. I think you just misread something. Hermione
unlocks the window and Sirius squeezes through it onto
the back of Buckbeak (the second time that being
skeletally thin has helped him escape). They they fly
to the top of the West Tower where Harry and Hermione
get off and tell Sirius goodbye. They then leave by
way of the tower door rather than that of Flitwick's
office. I hope that helped you. :)
