Why Does Krum Catch The Snitch?

I never had  a problem with the scenario. Ireland
seems to have the more balanced team. Bulgaria,
person/per person is not as good as Ireland, but then
they have Krum (one of those cases where the team gets
ahead because one of its members is head and shoulders
beyond everybody on his own and opposing teams).

Bulgaria's team is good. That, plus Krum allowed them
to get as far as they did. However, this is not good
enough against Ireland. I don't know if I am
explaining myself well, it's so clear in my head but
comes out murky :). Krum, as an experienced player
knows this. The longer the match goes on, the more
will the score distance increase. Plus, while Krum
might be a Seeker genius, Lynch isn't that bad either,
to be the seeker for Ireland. So there is pretty much
no chance of Bulgaria winning, but a chance that if
Krum does not catch the snitch, Ireland will win with
greater score and/or Lynch will get the snitch.

I must confess to liking Krum. He seems singularly
unspoiled by his fame, and is smart and secure enough
to be interested in Hermione and to see her as more
than a bossy know-it-all with big teeth. I like the
fact that he isn't the Quidditch Lockhart: all
shining-toothed perfection, but in fact rather awkward
off his broom. And I started liking his precisely when
he ended the match "on his own terms."
