In GoF, Sirius names the Lestranges as a married couple of Death Eaters who are in Azkaban.  So there's at least one woman:  Mrs. Lestrange.  Also, in the pensieve scene, during Barty Crouch Jr's trial, there is a woman who is also present and proclaiming her faithfulness to Voldemort.  This could be Mrs. Lestrange (IIRC, there was also another man on trial who could have been her husband), but we don't know for sure.  That means that there's at least one female DE that we know of, maybe two.
As for showing your feminist side, I think I know what you mean.  In some strange way, I would like to see more female villains (or *a* female villain--not counting Rita Skeeter), although I hope this year's DADA teacher is on the good side...
