My opinion is this: House Elves stay as is with no pay. The arguement -
that's how they like it. We've seen perfect evidence that giving them
"personal freedom" and "pay" only causes problems. It would be one thing if
they really wanted their freedom but we haven't seen any evidence of that
yet. It's just Hermione's liberation front that hasn't been asked for!
