Its a possibility. I really can't recall if the Potter's house remained intact after the attack, (it makes sense,) but lets be honest. Someone had to get it. Although Sirius would be a lovely person to inherit the house, he was tied up after the Potters' died. So who'd be good to live in the house? Well, what about a guy who is also a good old friend of the Potters, and he also probably has a problem keeping a job long enough to buy a house?

I love the idea. I think it could have quite a bit of opportunity, because if Harry heads to his parents' old house, well, that might be an interesting scene.
