Last night at my SF club meeting, we were discussing Harry Potter, and the
subject of Neville Longbottom came up. One of us came up with an
interesting scenario, which can be expressed in this extremely short fic:

"Professor Snape, I'd like you to meet my grandmother, Livia Longbottom.
I'll leave you two to converse, sir...and may the gods have mercy on your
soul."

As Neville shut the door, the first screams began.

THE END

Even if Neville's grandmother is often exasperated with him, I think that if
she knew how Snapey-poo treats him in his class, she'd be up to Hogwarts
with a Look of Doom in her eye. It might be a case of "NOBODY picks on my
grandson but ME." In that sort of scenario, I think Snapey might suddenly
start regretting that he wasn't sent to Azkaban...nice, _safe,_ Azkaban,
where Grandmother Longbottom can't get at him.

Maybe this will happen in the next book...Snape's been cruisin' for a
bruisin' for quite a while, IMNSHO.
