Names - Ginny

Ok, Ginny could be short for either: Virginia, Regina *or* Genevieve. 
I always thought the first and last names of those three were more 
likely. Of course, Ginny may even *be* her full name. I know 2 people 
called 'Vicky' that isn't short for Victoria. That's their full name.

But maybe not. Ginny's brothers all have names that have been 
shortened to something else. It's a pity we never got the see the 
sorting in CoS, then we would have known for sure :(
