Queen(princess) Margret /and/or/ Mary. If you think of it in that
way the family of names make some sort of sense.

Or perhaps it is a religious reference ie) the Virgin Mary mother of
Jesus Christ. I know it doesnt really fit into the royalty theme,
but it's another possibility. Perhaps it has many layered meaning,
referring to a particular skill/talent/attribute of one or more of
her children aswell as her own significance as a character. The
origins of the name Mary lie in hebrew meaning "bitterness" (yes I
know, I was very disappointed when I discovered this!!!)Although I
found that information in a book for naming children so I'm not 100%
sure of its authenticity.
-Mary :)
