[HPforGrownups] Weasley Names - Ron the Seer

I've always found the King/Queen names Weasley connection interesting.  
Rather than trying to justify Percy and Ron's names, though, I think it could 
be a bit of clever foreshadowing along the Evil! and Death! lines.

The Weasleys are the foil family to the Malfoys, who currently seems to have 
the most power and status in the wizarding world.  Lucius Malfoy has been 
described as a very powerful man, one who was able to bully the school 
governors.  The fact that the Weasleys have royal names indicates to me that 
by the end of the series, the tables will have turned, and the redheads will 
be in charge. <waves "Arthur for Minister" flag>

Going along with this theory, then, Percy and Ron being out of the loop 
indicates to me that they might not be around for this Weasley reign for one 
reason or another.  Evil, dead, or both, perhaps?  This is all speculation, 
of course.

I don't have much to say about Ron the Seer.  If JKR says so, then I'll 
accept the evidence as valid, but until then, I'll remain skeptical.  
However, I wanted to share a fun way to reread the series: take everything 
Ron says as an unfulfilled prediciton.  It's hilarious and sort of scary!
