Equally fascinating and perhaps a point of discussion I may have missed is
the fact that Percy assessed points against Gryffindor when Ron was
disrespectful to Percy "Prefect." Later, Ron as Crabbe confronts Percy and
Draco Malfoy is told that he should "show a bit more respect to a school
prefect," Percy does not cry out "five points against Slytherin" for their
disrespect.

I have come to the conclusion that many in authority in Potterverse do not
exercise the authority they have responsibly or they otherwise simply hide
behind it to cover their incompetence.

Off on another track - even though Quidditch was suspended for the Triwizard
Tournament, while many voices were heard, did I overlook the outraged protest
of the new team captain who is ? And how is one selected or elected for the
House Team? The only two mentions of joining any team is MM presenting Harry
to Oliver as "your new seeker" and Draco Malfoy being "swept" onto the
slytherin team.

And is there "sand-lot" or "little-league" Quidditch? It is the most popular
Wizard sport, or the most popular Wizard spectator-sport? And can anyone
clear up the rules about substitutions?
