Ginny's inconsistant eyes

I was listening to CoS (Jim Dale version) yesterday and in Chapter 
3, The Burrow, he read, "On the third landing, a door stood ajar.  
Harry just caught sight of a pair of bright *GREEN* eyes staring at 
hime before it closed with a snap."  For some reason this caught my 
attention and I actually played it again to be sure.  I have both 
the US and UK versions of CoS, and in both of them Ginny's eyes are 
brown.

Admittedly, this is not of earth-shattering importance, but has 
anyone got an explanation for this?  I checked the Lexicon and the 
archives and found nothing on this subject.  Does anyone have the 
UK/Stephen Fry version of CoS, and if so, are her eyes green in that 
one, too?

Is there a prize for finding a new inconsistancy between books and 
audio at this late date?
