Maybe someone else has noticed this already, but *I*
certainly hadn't noticed it until tonight (anything to avoid
studying for orgo test in a few hours, right?)... and look at THIS,
a few pages into Ch. 21

"It was someone being tortured," said Neville, who
had gone very white and spilled sausage rolls all over the
floor. "You're going to have to fight the Cruciatus Curse!"

I love how Rowling put all these hints that you
don't even pick up on; makes it fun to read these books again and
again. And again and again and again... but in all seriousness,
I wonder how he knew it sounded like someone being tortured?
I mean, they couldn't have "heard" what the spiders sounded
like... I mean, to be fair, i suppose we all know what pain
sounds like, but it *is* interesting that the minute he heard the
sound, he associated it with the Cruciatus curse (and Seamus
associated it with a banshee--does my memory mistake me or was
that what his Boggart turned into in Book 3?). Maybe
memory recall?
Or maybe it's just that he associates any hellish
sound with that b/c he knows his parents were tortured... *shrug*

(*sarcasm alert*) On the inconstancy of Ginny's
eyes, well OF COURSE they're brown. That way, when Ginny and
Harry get married, they have four possibilities in their
children:

1)red hair from mom, green eyes from dad (looks like
Lily if a girl)
2)red hair from mom, brown eyes from mom (looks like
Ginny if a girl)
3)black hair from dad, brown eyes from mom (looks
like James if a boy)
4)black hair from dad, green eyes from dad (looks
like Harry if a boy)

SEE??? Doesn't it all just make sense now??? See,
it just goes to show you that Ginny and Harry are fated from time
began, star-crossed lovers like Romeo and Juliet...
Cleopatra and Marc Anthony... hmm, I need to pick some better examples,
don't I? :D

Oh come on, y'all, that was funny, no matter what
your pairing preference may be :D That would be funny if they
did end up getting married and had a girl who looked like Lily
and a boy who looked like James--think of how many people they'd
freak out? Just think, mini-James for Snape to hate
for a whole new reason.
Plus, if the whole Snape-Lily theory is true... and
this time, "James" it out of the race for obvious
reasons... eww, I don't even
 want to think about that.
