Ship FAQ's ???

Hey all.

 I'm retuening after a LOOOONG time with limited or no computer 
acess. (Damn Hewlet Packard <kick> But wahat other type of computer 
*could* I get but another HP?)

Could someone please post a FAQ type summary of the various current 
ships/ theoies/ acronyms floating about.  I think I have Lolipops 
and toadkeeper figured out, but I'd like a handy dandy reference to 
the other, smaller ships in the water.
