  quoted often in the book that Mrs. Dursley pretends that she does not 
  even have a sister, how does she know that her sister is pregnant, 
  let alone the name of her son?  


Well, we are never given the time when Lily and Petunia's parents died, so it is possible that when Lily got pregnant their parents were still alive and they were the ones who told Petunia the news. 
I also believe that while the Dursleys pretend that Petunia doesn't have a sister Lily wouldn't go quite that far and it's possible that the Dursleys received and invitation to Harry's christening (he has a godfather, so he must've been baptized, right? I'm not Christian, so I wouldn't know for sure).
