I really don't think that's a sign that he is weak. I think it might be a 
clue that Aurther was once under the Imperius curse. Maybe the Weasley's are 
rather suseptable. In the chapter where Moody shows the Unforgivable Curses 
Ron is the one who mentions the Imperius and Moody says something to the 
effect of, you would know that one. That might also explain the gap in 
Weasley children.
