Dumbledore's actions were rather biased and immature, but he's only
human. I'm not justifying it at all and I agree that in the long-run
it's going to be more serious; in terms of being good or bad, though,
he's about as good as you can get. He might let himself be carried
away sometimes by his excitement, but the students know he's
dependable and that with him they're safe, even if they dislike him.
Being good doesn't necessarily have to do with making the right
decisions all the time either; I think it's more about doing what one
thinks is morally best.
