And Dembeldei responds:
I've always surmised that it might be key that Voldemort was
resurrected from the combination of Harry's blood and Peter's flesh,
not realizing that Peter was in debt to Harry!
I am interested in seeing how this plays out (will V. or his magic
self combust when it hits this paradox, etc.?)
Now me:
Hmm.. ." this is magic at its deepest." I am interested too in seeing how
JKR fits that paragraph into the story.
I have the feeling that the thinking is that Peter offers to do - or not
do - something to fulfill this life debt.
But. Is it possible that Harry can call upon it when he needs it regardless
of whether or not Peter wishes to have this life debt fulfilled at the
moment?
