Cool thought.

Unless there ashes were randomly scattered, there is still some
location that is associated with their final resting place.

It not really that important, but I thought it was odd that it's never
came up. Maybe because Harry's just a little boy, he isn't thinking of
those things. But I would have to assume that at some point, any
reasonable person would want to know where their bodies were.

As far as creamation, while it is certainly done in Europe, I suspect
it is not very common and certainly not traditional.
