But doing this could not have taken twenty-four hours to complete. That is why there is the "missing 24 hours" theory. Because Harry is taken from Godric's Hollow on Halloween and isn't seen again until midnight on November 1st (or would it be the 2nd?). Something had to be done with him during the day.
