Krum, Dumbledore, Transformations & Animagi

Dumbledore:
Just a general comment on the recent speculation that Dumbledore is an
animagi. A lot of this is based on Dumbledore having been a
Transfiguration teacher. I would like to suggest you keep in mind that
one does NOT have to be an animagi to do a human to animal
transfiguration. Example, Viktor Krum transfigure, with only moderate
success, himself into a shark so he can survive underwater during the
second triwizards task.

So having been a Transfiguration teacher is by no means an indication
that Dumbledore is an animagi. 

Viktor:
Off on a totally different topic. I think Viktor should have gotten
full marks for his Human to Shark transformation. Actually, in my
opinion, he did it perfect; he transformed his head, so he could
breath under water, yet left his body intact so he still had hands.
Problem with being a complete shark is, you can't pick things up and
carry them. So, I think he did it just right.
