Can Ghosts Drink?

There was no punch on the Deathday party table, so it seems if they
could drink, then *that* would of been at the party.

Well, McGonagall could conjure up a fan to move him, so maybe Madam
Pomfrey could mist it on him.  Or even steam a vapour that could carry
the droplets down his ghost throat.  Given that he is a spirit, how
was it that he was petrified in the first place?  Did it more freeze
the image on him?  If a fan could move him, then he is somehow kind of
solid?

Sorry, I posed more questions than I answered.
