Hmmm, I disagree. Being all mushy would be out of character for both 
of them indeed. But through working together they may develop 
grudging respect for each other. I think it is possible or maybe I 
just want it to be.
We still don't know so much about their time in school. We don't know 
everything about events leading to the Prank. I for once would like 
for them if not becoming friends (I agree with you that war can do 
strange things), at least make peace with each other.
