Harry's Point of View, and the Halloween murders

I think that obviously Halloween is a very significant date in the
wizarding world, but I do find it interesting that this significance
isn't really mentioned in the book. The fact that Lily and James
died on Halloween is almost mentioned in passing. And I always
wondered why Harry never felt more upset on his parents' death
anniversary. I mean, sure, he grew up never knowing that his parents
died on that day, so I can understand why he doesn't fall into a
depression or anything, but now that he knows, there is no mention
that he ever thinks about this. Also, I cannot possibly imagine what
Headless Nick's Deathday being on Halloween has to do with Lily and
James dying on Halloween, but I have a sneaking suspicion, there
might be.
