Hello all, I would be willing to be that Snape was sort of like Draco, would be #1 in everything, or most everything if it were not for Harry, or in Snape's case James. Snape was probably the leader of at least one group of students, like Draco, but was constantly one-uped by James. I would also be curious if this is why Snape sides with Draco over Harry even though Snape *must* have known that Draco can't wait to join VM, and Snape has denounced VM to DD's satisfaction.
 On a side note, any thoughts on what becomes of Draco in the nest year, ie does DD let him come back after just about declaring his allegience to VM?
