Right! I didn't think he actually physically placed the
mirror in.

Should have asked: How did he make it possible for someone
who didn't want to use the stone to acquire it through the
mirror?

That's probably not right, either!

My English skills are leaving me, but I probably couldn't
formulate it any better in German (my 1rst language),
either.

I haven't even read the books in German.
Maybe I should ask my sister to send me some copies from
Germany.

I need to teach my daughter to read German anyhow :)
