#1. Those people who know where he is are not those who want to harm
him.  Thus they can come and go freely as long as they are not intending
Harry any harm.

#2. It doesn't say the ancient magic HIDES Harry, it only 'Protects'
him.. Maybe the 'ancient magic' was what made his aunt 'blow up/swell
up' and not Harry?  Cause she might have had enough bad intent combined
with being from a family that has wizards in it, to trigger the
protection?  A full wizard with ill intentions might not even be able to
get near the place..
