Not sure exactly how plausible Snuffles would be as a new pet...but I

I can just picture Harry walking into the Potions dungeun with a big 
black dog behind him, taking a seat right in front of Snape, 
cooing, "c'mere, Snuffles," and scratching the dog behind the ears. =)

Who else would love to see the look on Snape's face?
