You know, I just had the most amazing thought. What if it was
Dumbledore! That would be something, wouldn't it? Think about it. He
was integral in the Tom Riddle story and was "only" a professor
then...hmmmm. He's very close to Snape and they have a very intimate
relationship (and NO I don't mean LIKE THAT for all you...well you
know who you are! ;-)) A father-son relationship like theirs could
certainly develop in that situation.
I doubt it's the case really, but it would be pretty cool, don't you
think?
