It's a sort of dress that little girls wear often (especially in 
uniforms), though there are adult jumpers. There's a wide variety of 
jumpers, b, the stereotypical jumper looks like this

waist (as do many jumpers) and it was green with a white blouse, and 
green/black leotards and  and boy were we excited to switch to kilts 
in Grade 5.
