This keeps me thinking about something in Year one. Harry learns
(From Ron via his elder brothers, I think) that Snape was after
Quirel's DADA job.
Why doesn't Dumbledor put Snape in the DADA job? He'd be
great, IMHO. Is it because potion teachers are even harder to
find? Would Snape agree to taking both positions (and get two
paychecks, of course)?
