Dragons in the wizarding world do not seem to be considered evil at 
all.  They are dangerous beasts, but morally neutral - and rather 
valuable.  Remember, Krum loses points for making his dragon trample 
her eggs, and none of the Triwizard champions hurt their dragons 
permanently.  That suggests that they're a strategic obstacle, like 
the merfolk were an obstacle, not in any sense evil.

Perhaps this is an indication that Draco is indiscriminately 
dangerous to both sides?  :)

Er, yes.  You were just speaking about names associated with the 
fallen foe in Christianity?  "Lucifer," perhaps?

Not all that gives light is Good.
