I don't think it will be Sirius, either.  Although my thought is that 
he is too new to the series.  I don't have the same sense of him as 
the trio, or other major characters that we've had since Book 1.  

When I first heard someone was going to be killed off, I IMMEDIATELY 
thought of Hermoine- I said it was because she was probably the 
character that JKR identified the most with (prior to reading that 
JKR HAS said that about Hermoine).  My next thought was Hagrid.  

I'm torn between respecting JKR for beeing realistic and telling the 
story & not wanting to lose any beloved characters!
