I suspect Voldy think everyone except himself and possibly
Dumbledore is a "poor wizard." He seems pretty full of himself.
I always thought that to successfully cast AK, the caster must truly
and totally wish the victim dead without the slightest twinge of
fear, conscience or doubt. It's not like a gun, where you can kill
someone even if you feel kinda bad about it. AK can only be cast
totally in cold blood, and that's why it's unforgivable.
And while we're on that topic -- what were Lupin and Black planning
to cast on Peter in the Shrieking Shack before Harry stopped them?
Were they actually going to AK the guy, or are there some forgivable
killing curses out there?

Woo-hoo! I win the Most Disgusting Theory award! I've always
wanted one of those. Let's see... I'd like to thank Pauline Reage,
the Marquis DeSade, Anne Rocquelaire, and all the little people who
made this award possible.
