Let's say it's a theory that seems to some of us to account for
certain facts, such as Snape's jealousy of James Potter.  I mean,
Snape may be good at holding grudges, but I can't quite believe
that at the age of 35 he's still stewing over the fact that James
was a better Quidditch player than he was.  Sexual jealousy,
OTOH, has a notoriously long shelf life.
