Chris the Customs Officer (hmm... this has me wondering about the etymology of the work "customs"... did a customs officer once make sure you were going to live by local customs?):

> Where is the evidence (or the canonical suggestion) that Snape played
Quiddich? Snape refereeing Quiddich is simply a teacher stepping in
with teacher authority to regulate student behaviour. I don't think
that is evidence for having playing that sport.

the Menu.

Contrary to the assumptions of many, the only initiation dish on the LOLLIPOPS menu required to gain a boarding pass for this stately SHIP is to believe that Love Of Lily Left Ire Polluting Our Poor Severus. If you believe that a contributing factor to Snape's bitter, cranky behaviour was the fact that he was in love with Harry's mother, you are welcome aboard.
Beyond that, the Ship has an a la carte menu. Put together any dishes you like from the ingredients JKR has supplied, and the chefs will cater to your tastes!

You do not have to believe devoutly in my Snape bio... this was just an illustration of how LOLLIPOPS could provide a plausible backstory which fits in with all available evidence. Snape may or may not have played Quidditch. However, we *do* know that he was jealous of James' Quidditch ability, whether because James was better at it than him or because he didn't play Quidditch at all (and resented the jock getting the girl of his dreams). LOLLIPOPS does not presuppose any actual relationship between Snape and Lily, can happily accommodate Snape rigging an ambush of his former DE colleagues, and does not preclude Snape's turning back to Dumbledore's side being the result of a moral crisis (not a simple "my girl's there so I'm going back" decision... I mean, really! Where do those LOLLIPOPS detractors get this straw man stuff?).

You do not need to believe that Love Of Lily was responsible for every event in Snape's life since he met her. LOLLIPOPS welcomes all types, from those who believe that it accounts only for Snape's attitude to Harry to those who believe Snape's crush was behind his behaviour during the Prank, his decision to join the Death Eaters and even his decision to leave them before the Potters were killed. As Captain, I have a duty to come up with backstories which give LOLLIPOPS the most significant role possible in the turn of events, but I have an open door policy for my passengers and crew.

Captain Tabouli.
