[HPforGrownups] Book 5 - I heard a rumour

As I have now had posts accepted, been rapped across the knuckles by our illustrious and hard-working Moderators for getting it wrong ;-( and got a List Elf to help me out.) - I feel I can introduce myself.  

 

My name is Felicia M Dawson-Rickmann and I live in the U.K. I work for accountants, I design & create ride a small-ish motorbike - 250c.c. (Sirius I suspect rode a larger one - possibly a wizard version of the British Triumph).  I am marginally older than Severus Snape, according to JKR.  

 

I am fascinated by the many discussions on Snape, Sirius and Lupin, less so by Hermione - who can look after herself, Ron - who will not IMO go over to the dark side, and Ginny - who definitely will come into her own in time (and leave behind the gauche, giggly little girl she was).  I had also better stand up and be counted on two well established theories - L.O.L.L.I.P.O.P.S. and Ambush.  With the utmost respect to the proposers and absorbing as the theories are - No Way IMO.   Snape may have lost someone (close family/friend/wife/loverwhowasnotLilly?) at some stage but, as this is a children's book, such a dramatic turn of events as proposed by L.O.L.L.I.P.O.P.S. would have to be very very carefully handled.   

 

My admiration for JKR, Dumbledore, Sirius, Lupin and Snape is boundless - their motives, motivation, histories etc., and I look greatly enjoy reading the many theories and opinions HPFGU offers on their behalf.  Thank you everyone.

What is the latest information on the availability of book 5????

I heard a rumour that Warner (bless their little hearts) wanted to hold off publication until approx. December when the next film is rumoured to be coming out.  I also heard that JKR told them where to get off the knight bus - if you follow my drift - and that the book would be coming out in time for the summer holidays (U.K. timing that is.....). Not confirmed but I thought you would like to hear something!!
