Well...honestly, would you have read "Harry Potter and the Transfiguration
Textbook"? Probably not. You needed something exciting like the Triwizard
Tournament going on.

Yes, but *he wanted Harry*. He killed two birds with one stone in that he is
now back from body banishment (I can't really bring myself to call it
death), and now he can touch his greatest enemy without hurting himself.
They easily caught Moody, the master Auror. LV's

Exactly. Lord Voldemort is your Evil, Unassailable Dark Lord (as I am so
fond of saying). He's nasty, he's not nice to anybody, he shoots first and
asks questions later, he manipulates people as it suits him, and he's
arrogant.

Yes, go Harry. No doubt in my mind that the Weasleys are indeed an important
family in the wizarding world.

I don't know that I'd say antagonizes...tricks, yes. Harry gives his sock to
Lucius, Lucius, in a moment of not thinking (one of several, I am sure),
hands sock over to his House Elf in confusion and befuddlement. Lucius is of
course very angry and Dobby reciprocates his thanks to Harry by blasting
Lucius down a flight of stairs.
Elves in this world seem to be very powerful magically, and their magic
looks to follow a different set of rules than human magic does, and would
probably be a key ally into winning the war. They have, however been
opressed probably for centuries and generations.

Once again, Ye Olde Evil Lord Arrogance kicking in with the sorting hat. He
forgets that phoenix tears heal wounds. I don't think that he knew he and
Harry had Phoenix core wands, let alone brother wands. Another intersting
thing about the wood of the wands is the type. Yew (Voldemort's wand) is a
symbol for death, and is usually found in cemetaries, and Holly (Harry's
wand) is a symbol of eternal life (because of the berries, this is also why
its a common decoration at Christmas time). :D

As has been said in an earlier post, and unless I am wrong which is quite
likely as I am not a biographer, Hitler had some form of Jewish heritage.
I think the basic theory behind Tom's reasoning is his bitterness towards
his father. "My dad was a bad muggle, he abandoned my mother when he found
out she was a witch, down with muggles!" That sort of thing.
>I'm wondering how significant Dumbledore's look was when he heard

I dont' buy the Evil!Dumbledore theory at all. Just to say that.
>Does Fawkes and the Phoenix Wands have special significance as the
>next book is 'Order of the Phoenix?
*strokes chin* Could be...
Liz (who thinks Evil!Dumbledore is like Competent!Fudge)
