James and Lily did die on Hallow'ene - I can't think exactly where it 
says this, but somewhere in the first chapter - I think when the 
Dursleys are listening to the news - I'm sure the enws reader says 
something about it being Hallow'ene, and the weather man [talking 
about sparks in the sky] says that Bon fire night isn't until next 
week - and for non-UK, Bon Fire night [we like to emember a Guy 
Falks, a bloke who tried to blow up the Houses of parliament - and 
failed - make of that what you will!!!] is celebrated on 5th 
Noveber.
