Help has arrived! :-)

A few weeks ago, we added a file called "Inish Alley." It is a
summary of all of the acronyms we could find, what they mean, and the
message number in which they were originally introduced. Check it
out at http://www.hpfgu.org.uk/inishalley/. If the link doesn't
work, go to ADMIN message 33,666 or go to the Files section under
Administrative files. It is reasonably well-updated at this point,
but it will be getting another shot in the arm soon for the most
recent acronyms.

There is also a database that has even *more* acronyms with their
definitions, but it does not yet have message numbers. Check
the "Database" section here on the main list.

I can't provide much help on things like Prince, George, Mercy,
Fourth Man. They're not acronyms, so they are not in Inish Alley.
You might have to poke around in web-view, search for "Prince of
Darkness" (which would pre-date George, IIRC) and then feel around
from there. It's is a very *long* Snape & the DEs discussion. Sorry
I can't be more helpful.

Cindy -- proud member of S.I.N.I.S.T.E.R, and glad the acronym saves
her the trouble of repeatedly typing "Sirius is really terrific and I
think he is a great character and lots of people criticize him
unfairly, and he had perfectly good reasons for doing everything he
did."
