Hi all, I am jumping into this list after lurking for weeks and reading everything that has been written about my favorite animagus, Padfoot.

  I've read all kinds of theories about him and thought to offer one or two of my own. forgive me if this has been gone over before.  IIRC in canon it is stated that he is a prankster along with James. Nowhere do I remember it being said that he was a lady's man or a heartbreaker. I see the pre-Azkaban Sirius as someone who is not really aware of his obvious attractiveness and was more interested in having a good time with his pals. He is also shown as happy and smiling at James' and Lily's wedding so I don't think that he harbors any disdain for those who have decided to make a commitment to each other. Nothing has been said about his romantic life. (I'm sure you won't hasten to correct me if I'm wrong). I choose to see it as he hasn't met the right one yet.

 Now to the Prank. I believe that something that we have not been told about had precipitated it.There is too much animosity between them. Also at 16 years old, you don't tend to think too thoroughly of the ramifications of your actions. Snape is the one who needs to get over it. (Ducking)

 POA Sirius is product of 12 years with the dementors. PTSD or not, that is going to have a strong effect on anyone. We see in GOF that he has healed to a degree and shows compassion and caring for Harry. He is coming back to his true self, the one that was such close friends with James and the others.

 I see him very similar to the character Marcus Cole of Babylon 5 both physically and personalitywise.

 Sorry to have rambled on so long but this character has sparked much in my imagination,
