However how do we know that wizards with the ability to become 
animagi are not able to keep their belongings with them when they 
morph into animal form? There is a whole wide discussion group 
complete with essays that debates the issue.  I am part of the group 
that believes that anamagi can indeed retain whatever possesions they 
have with them as long as it is concealed within a piece of clothing 
(such as a cloak or a hat) that will be morphed along with them
(remember in PS McGonagal still had her hat, cloak and glasses with 
her after returning to her human form).  Assuming that this is 
correct, why isnt is possible for Peter to hold onto Voldemorts wand?
OTOH, I could buy the idea of it being hidden, but IMO that would be 
too risky for Peter seeing as anyone could find it and Petey didnt 
know for sure when he would be able to return to wherever he hid the 
wand.  What do you think?
