I like Crookshanks best, too, as several others have already said. I like 
the fact that he's a loyal ally and a hero. Also, I really applaud JKR for 
making him a "good guy" as she has said in an interview that she doesn't 
like cats! FYI, I believe it was one of the Scholastic interviews, but 
(alas!) I'm not positive.
