Btw, my favorite canon animal may be the Muggle python who heads
'back' to Brazil.

I, and I think most of us, assume that Bill is oldest (not Charlie
the dragon wrangler), based on Ron having mentioned Bill before
Charlie when telling Harry he had five brothers. However, I don't
think there is *clear* evidence in canon, and I have been wondering
if they might ALSO be a pair of twins (not identical twins, of
course).

The Weasleys are going on the offensive *already* without any of them
having been killed yet. At end of GoF, DUmbledore says "Molly, I can
count on you and Arthur" and Bill is rushing around on Dumbledore's
errands.

Those are both (or all three) popular beliefs in the fanfic world.
Try reading Heidi Tandy for a well-written fic with that as the THEME
(or THESIS, I don't know lit crit words). Many people hold these
beliefs because of being in love with Draco. I am attempted to ask if
you know your nephew's sexual orientation....

I also think that Lucius is the most evil character of the whole
series, but my reasoning is not quite the same as yours. Voldemort is
terribly evil, but I am sure he is insane, which reduces his fault in
the matter. As for Lucius, it is not that he states beliefs which he
doesn't feel (his true belief, to which he IS loyal, is "Everything
for me"), but that he doesn't care about anyone but himself. I tried
to make myself believe that he loves his wife and/or son, or at least
a lover, but I can't make it seem plausible to me.
