However, may I point out that another recent thread has been 'What do 
they learn in Arithmancy?'

Surely it's obvious: 10 x 4 x 7 = 1000.

That's pretty strong magic.

David, wondering if the Astronomy lessons can explain hours of daylit 
Quidditch practice after school in winter, pitch black mornings at 
5am in midsummer, and nightfall ten minutes after sunset in June 
(when Sirius catches Ron).
