About Wizard-authorities not doing that priori-incantatem...
Sirius got Pettigrew on foot, pretty soon, therefore, near Potter-
house. Now, Peter shouts: "Sirius! How could you?" - totally
surprising Sirius, who is angry with PP...
While PP kills the Muggles (holding his wand behind his back) Sirius
searches for his wand, but recalls, too late, that his wand is in a
bag fastened on his motorcycle... or did he have it?
Peter cuts off his finger(using a spell or something), summons the
rats, drops his wand, transforms and escapes. (If he wants to be
believed dead, he must leave his wand behind!) And the spell that
gives the latest spell... The latest spell was the summoning of rats
or transformation into rat! If they did use a spell that spits out
spells until it shows the AK - they'd summon it on Peter's wand and
think it was Sirius'... (So... Peter's wand is investicated... They'd
assume Sirius had killed Pettigrew, transformed him and his wand -
and killed those Muggles... So, anyway, Peter's wand is the one
snapped, not Sirius')...
Now, Peter's out - without a wand - and he needs one. He gets
Voldemort's wand! After that he finds his way into a pet shop and
into Weasley's home... as Percy's rat. So um - PP had that wand all
along, so Voldemort's wand was at Hogwarts, Voldemort as a spirit in
a turban, with two followers...!
As "someone close" to Harry is to die(and this isn't Sirius, I hope) -
after Sirius is awaiting his trial, willing to try without PP. This,
of course, would make Harry extremely depressed. He'd want to get to
his parents by killing himself (won't succeed, gets put into hospital
and kept there) - Dumbledore(and if he's dead, Hermione or Lupin)
asks him what was his latest Happy Thought (getting to live with
Sirius?)... So that Harry's life is clearly dependent on Sirius
getting out free! Now, PP gets a letter informing of this (Poor
Sirius can't be contacted, he's in court/jail)...
Now, PP just might decide to pay his life-debt to Harry, walk into
the court-room, make a confession, tell Sirius about Harry, transform
and escape AGAIN. This is enough for Sirius to become free, but
nothing ELSE is changed yet! But will he get to Harry before the
godson dies by inherent magic... Sirius would get there by apparating
to Shrieking Shack (which isn't on school grounds!- only he needs a
wand - quick stop with Ollivander...) and using the corridor... and
gets to Harry, who's been spelled to disable him from hurting
himself... Oh, add a coule of teachers, like Snape, to try to prevent
Sirius - even McGonagall, who happened to witness Sirius' transform
and begins to scold him for not registering.. finally getting to
Harry, where McGonagall threatens to turn him in - Harry's wandless
and uncontrolled magic curses McGonagall - Sirius asks if she thinks
Harry'd find that kind of jumping amusing(as if it's her fault,
although both she and Sirius know it was Harry's uncontrolled
magic)...
Harry will get better just for seeing Sirius - and when he finds out
that Sirius got out, he feels even better... Then Hermione storms in
and starts talking about OWLS (if it were Hedwig that died, this
would give poor Harry a new fit, and Sirius would tell Hermione
to "do someting useful, like keeping her mouth shut and get Harry
chocolate" and finally Sirius figures that Harry needs Sunlight and
lots of fun! - Sirius definately knows all about depression and how
to recover from it)... And I'm sure AD would encertain Harry's Owls
as reorganised (or Ms. McG if AD died)...
