Might not Vincent and Gregory be so loyal to Malfoy on the basis of
instructions from there Dear Old Dads, who are Lucius's subordinates in the
Dark Side? Aside from evil cunning (IIRC) the mental processes of C & G must
revolve around eating and sleeping and each walking a pace behind and to the
right and left of DM.
However, at what point do the academic standards of Hogwarts enter the mix.
Is there a Hogwarts Building Fund or an Alumni Group that accepts generous
contributions from rah-rah boosters. LM probably exercises less influence
now than when he was one of the Governors.
