Yet another question which I'm not sure is on topic or not.
N.E.W.Ts are assumed to be the equivilent of A Levels in England
(post all the changes).

Anyway I was wondering what's the TOTAL number of A Levels you can
take? Is there a limit, say no more than 6? Or can you take as many
as you want? Would someone like Hermione be able to handle more than
6?

Also it seems as I've mentioned before- that at least Charms, DADA,
Potions and Transfiguration would be compulsary, for exam Fred and
George are still doing DADA in Sixth Year and Hermione tells Ron and
Harry " ' If only we'd done Human Transfiguration all ready!But I
don't think we start that until our Sixth Year.'"

Plus it seems those four are WAY too important to not learn
everything about, they seem to represent the four main branches of
magic Charms allow you to do things 'Accio' for example, DADA is
defense spells against evil,Potions is magic without a wand, and
Transfiguration is changing things for what you need ie: if you
don't have something transfigure something else into it.

With all this in mind, do you think there could be a slight
difference between N.E.W.T's and A Levels, that is you have four
compulsary N.E.W.T's and can chose 5 or 6 others if you wish?

I ask all of this because I'm writing a HP fan fic as I've mentioned
before and classes factor in very importantly. Does anyone have any
good suggestions or should I just wait for all the books to come out
before I start writing about characters (not the trio) in 6th and
7th year?
