Hey, you're right. Sirius's true demeanor after the explosion (was it
an AK or something else?) MUST have to do with how he was framed. And
judging from the fact that he doesn't elaborate on how he was framed
(simply says that Peter left behind a finger and beat him in the
duel), it's entirely possible that he wasn't all that *compos mentis*
at the moment.

You should know that it required a bit of work: I pulled sections into
Word from various posts that followed the original, got rid of the
blasted >>>>s, stuck it into Notebook (to translate the curly quotes
into straight quotes) and cut and pasted it into this cursed Web view.
It didn't show up, so I pasted a couple more times and finally all
three copies showed up. So if you want people to do it that cleanly
all the time, you might not want to hold your breath waiting.
