We know you are all waiting, trembling with excitement, barely able 
to accomplish anything useful, just *dying* to know when Book 5 will 
be released.  Excitement is in the air.  Palms are sweating.  Hearts 
are pounding.  We know it.  We're human; we feel it too!  

Nevertheless, we would like to announce new rules regarding the 
proper places for predictions of release dates, rumors of release 
dates, and prayers about release dates:

HP-Announcements is the place for confirmed information about the 
OoP release date.  This includes messages with a link to a *real* 
news report from a reputable and verifiable source, not just rumor 
and speculation.  The Announcements list is:

OT-Chatter is the place for OoP handwringing, hand-holding, wild-
eyed speculation, wishful thinking, insider information, 12-step 
programs and the like.  The OT-Chatter list is:

Discussion of release dates for OoP does *not* belong on this list, 
however.  This list is for discussion of the Harry Potter 
books.  This list is not for discussion of, er, Harry Potter non-
books.  
 
That's it.  Now keep those fingers crossed that the you-know-what 
will be released you-know-when.
